Another great place to go to feed your muse is the Carousel Bar in the Hotel Monteleone in New Orleans. You can take a seat at the revolving “merry-go-round” bar after walking around in the French Quarter and visiting the literary-associate sites throughout the district. The Hotel Monteleone is known as a historical literary hot spot with writers such as Hemingway, Faulkner, Tennessee Williams, Anne Rice, and John Grisham either staying there or dropping by for a drink. A book display in the lobby across from the bar chronicles the different authors and works related to the hotel . It is definitely worth a visit.

I’m missing the elephant house in Edinburgh, where it is said J K Rowling would go to write her Harry Potter series…
the place is now full of memorabilia and newspaper cutouts, besides the bathroom being covered in graffiti from the fans. From the window you can kinda see where she got the inspiration for Hogwarts from
