Check this out…in the late '70’s a friend turned me on to “PRAY” graffiti…from then on I found PRAY scratched or written all over the subway system…I could find PRAY at every stop!
Much of it is painted over now, but you can still find a few here and there…see the accompanying images and the Flickr story…this woman was prolific!

I have so many questions about New York. Are Subways as weird and brilliant as they are described?
I like the Alice in Wonderland subway platform in 50th Station 1-9 lines!
