A brief note to hopefully clarify some of the images I see in this entry. The Bibliothèque Nationale has several large buildings across the city of Paris two of which are the Richelieu site and the François-Mitterrand site. The Richelieu site has the gorgeous old reading room seen in some of the photos on this page. In fact, there’s a separate AO page for that reading room, but it’s a bit outdated (and confusing in that it’s the main reading room for this entry). The modern building pictured in one of the photos in this entry is the François-Mitterrand site. It’s interior, despite what the caption says does not mask any antiquated interior…it’s a fully modern building.

Many libraries in America have a library book shop. Is there one in The Bibliotheque?
