I audibly gasped when I saw this entry! This is the exact Ginger Ale that my grand uncle used to stock in boxes at his farm in Vermont. When I was a kid, it was the first thing I would seek out we had arrived for a weekend stay. I was so proud of being the only one of my cousins who could drink the pink top version, which is so spicy that you have to avoid inhaling while you bring the bottle to your mouth, otherwise you’ll have a coughing fit.
I just tried this for the first time today and took quite a liking to it. It does pack a bit of a punch though. I also decided to get a little creative and mix it with another gastro obscura find. Blenheim Ginger Ale + Stroopwafel Liqueur really seems to work.
