While I didn’t get to see the interiors of Casa Loma on my last Toronto visit (the line was quite long), I did learn that the winding street at the start of the Baldwin Stairs below (a 19th century outdoor staircase) is an original trail created by the Indigenous peoples. If you look at the map, you can see how it winds unlike the other streets. That’s all the info I have on the trail, but if anyone has read more about this, I’d love to know!

Oh man I love it when people find ways to incorporate indigenous history into landmarks! Would def appreciate more info.
