“Designed in an Ottoman architectural style” - are we sure about that?

The architect may have taken some general inspiration from Ottoman forms (I mean VERY general - like the idea of having a dome and two minarets) but the style looks thoroughly modern to me, maybe with an element of Brutalism in the scale of the building and the use of concrete. I associate Ottoman architecture with characteristics such as symmetrical geometric forms and wood & stone construction, which the architect seems to have intentionally avoided here.

But I’m just a layman - Any real architects on here want to opine? Am I missing something?
