Croatia in April/May

Planning a 10 day trip to Croatia, Zagreb, Dubrovnik and Split are places we have decided on, the Pitlik National Park is one of the sites, can anyone recommend others for two retirees in their 70’s?

You should not miss a boat trip along the islands. Brac is especially beautiful. We were hiking there - gorgeous views, quarries to inspect, ancient cystern to see.

In addition to Plitvice National Park there is also the Krka National Park that has stunning views as well. The walking trails are more easier to manage in Krka. Close to Split is also a small coastal ancient town of Trogir - very compact and easy to do with many interesting places. This seems to be a bit overshadowed by other bigger and more famous cities but should not be. I would also opt for Zadar - the Sea Organ is a unique and fun experience.
