La Casa de los Azulejos

According to the history the tiles were either imported from China, or made in Puebla by a factory run by Dominican friars in 1653. Its also noted that one of the more recent counts (Diego Suarez de Perado) was stabbed to death on the main staircase during the riots of Acordada in 1828. The Casa De los Azulejos is a beautiful house with an amazing history.

There is also a couple of bullet holes in the ceilings from when the revolutionaries entered the city after the Mexican revolution and celebrated in Azulejos with drinks and meals.
