10/06/2020 - Signs direct visitors to visit the welcome center before visiting the palace. When I arrived, lunch was being served. I was invited to join but declined, having just eaten and doing my best to be COVID-responsible. When I inquired at the front desk about visiting the Palace, the attendant seemed surprised that I would stop by to ask him at all – so visiting the welcome center is probably unnecessary if you wish to avoid the pitch. Barring that, it is worth it to head down this road anyway to see the rest of the campus and the ornate temple.
