The "Atlas Obscura Accomodation" repository guide

The purpose of this thread is to create a repository of places that are already featured in AO and that offer accomodation. Hotels, BnBs, guesthouses, hostels, all’s good to go as long as you provide a link to its AO entry and to a website where one can book one of their rooms or beds.

I’ll start with the following, all in Mexico:

Casa Na Bolom, San Cristobal de las Casas

Conch/Seashell House in Isla Mujeres

Quetzalcoatl’s Nest in Naucalpan/Greater Mexico City

Good idea Linkogecko !

Regarding a soon to be published (hopefully) entry to the Atlas I’m going to give a shout out for an old friend of mine in Brazil who runs as an ecolodge and excellent eco tours to view wildlife in Serra da canastra national park.

This is a great idea! Thanks @linkogecko!

Sorry, no. The idea is to limit it to existing AO entries. There is a similar topic to this, however, without this limitation.

Time for an update with all my recent entries that also offer accomodation, starting with 3 places related to castles:

First, the actual castle of Fa’side, not far from Edinburgh, Scotland,

Then this surreal “castle” in Mexico,

Followed by a castle-inspired hotel,

And finally, a classic (non-castle-like) hotel in Mexico City.

Here’s one of mine - a hostel in Japan that puts its bunks between bookshelves. Had a very nice conversation with a Pakistani lady about the short stories she wrote.

A hotel in New Mexico I meant to stop by and visit once on a road trip, but forgot about:

There’s actually a tag for hotels on AO, if anyone wants to take a look:
