Parking at the bottom of the stairs is atrocious. There is a ton of parking if you drive near the Haunted Halcyon House and it’s only a couple of blocks away.

This is indeed a site for obscure and Haunting! Everyone from DC, MD and VA know of this famous M Street staircase! It is a must see and a perfect time to see it is in October and or Halloween! parking is indeed tough to find in Georgetown, but with patience and not at rush hour, you can find. Georgetown is a major Halloween place for Halloween celebrations. Georgetown is a wealthy neighborhood in Washington with old cobblestone streets in some places. Becareful on the stairs as they are steep! Wouldn’t want you to spill down the stairs like Father Damion! Many clubs line the streets of Georgetown. Georgetown has some very neat homes and churchs. Many well to do folks live in Georgetown. Again, Georgetown has a big celebration on Halloween where the streets are closed for the crowds! Wisconsin Avenue and M Street is ground zero. This is a must for any Exorcist fan! And remember! The Power of Christ Compells you! The Power of Christ compells you!!!
