Back roads in Dorchester County are crowded with motorcycle gangs, too. One followed us when we visited in 2017. They tried to be nonchalant about it but I had my suspicions. It was not the first time that I’ve been followed in Maryland. Happened before in 1980. But unlike the dead trees in the article “… these are the two olive trees, …” and therefore they continue until the time ordained for them to die. The change on the eastern shore may seem like an apocalyptic fantasy to some but it very real. My guess is that the water will continue to rise as the glaciers melt and increase ocean volume. However, the earth will not be destroyed by water again. (Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished.) It is being reserved unto fire.
