Two Words: Disco Spiders

It’s Wednesday, and the rest of the week is looming. How will we make it to the weekend? Who will save us?! Peacock spiders, that’s who!

Peacock spiders are a wonderful genus of arachnid native to Australia. While they are are just millimeters tall, their vibrantly colored butts and sick mating dance moves, make them even more noticeable than some of their larger cousins. Even if you find spiders pretty creepy (raises hand), you have to admit, peacock spiders are pretty attractive little creatures. Of course some internet genius (peacock spider photographer, Jurgen Otto) has put their movements to music, and the results are just the type of silly, curious fun a Wednesday needs.
