Though I go to the UK about every two years I have never visited this site, I will have to correct this oversight. I have read "Watership Down twice, the first time in the 70’s and again in the early 90’s. I always recommend this book anytime the subject of best books come up in conversation, which happens frequently. It will always be one of my favorite reads !

When I went to Watership Down I made a map of the landmarks in the book and the right-of-way foot paths that take you to them. Hope visitors to the Down find it helpful.

Very helpful, thankyou

Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I haven’t read the book since I was a child, and I didn’t think it was a real place! Will walk when I am in that neck of the woods
